A great way to raise your energy and influence the way you feel is to stop for a moment and find things to be grateful for.
Often our days are so busy that we can easily take some of the good things in our lives for granted. Taking a few minutes to appreciate what you do have can be an extremely eye opening and uplifting exercise, and because like attracts like, you will keep seeing and experiencing things to be thankful for.
Equally, when we give someone a present and they show us their appreciation it encourages us to give to that person again because it makes us feel good. When we acknowledge what we have been given we are creating an energetic space to receive more of those things.
Ancient traditions have long incorporated thankfulness into their daily blessings, whether it be for a decent meal or the healthy function of the body. The wisdom held in the practice of gratitude goes full circle and the giver, whoever/whatever you perceive that to be, is left wanting to give more to those that appreciate what they have already been given.
This month try taking a few minutes each day to write a list of what you have and enjoy in your life. If you need inspiration, then look around the room and see what “basic” things you have access to. Other things to include in your list may be; specific people around you and why you love them (showing them after is always great), something that made you laugh that day, things about your job that you do like, the choice of clothes in your cupboard, your warm duvet on a freezing night and anything that generally makes you feel blessed!
You’ll be surprised at how quickly this changes your perspective and raises your vibration!
